Assuming you mean 29th of August not September, the 29th was a Saturday, 30th a Sunday, 31st a Bank Holiday. Staffing will be lower because people are not there therefore things take longer to get through, just like everywhere else people like having a long weekend break. That goes for HM Revenue & Customs as well as RM.newborn wrote:Ok, so I tend to never order stuff from a outside the UK but this time I ordered something from poland... everything was going smoothly.. until it hit Heathrow DC, then it all stopped, its been there since 29th of September and nothing yet.. so no idea what's going on, it was nothing big, was sent as a letter, but no idea what's going on, any idea?

Never mind, the person I sent the item too, as he was fixing someone for me, said it just arrived.

Moved to 'Customer' forum.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
