I ordered an item about 4 days ago and I was given a tracking number, when I use it it says: We received item "tracking number" at Belfast North DO on the 2015-08-17. The item is now ready for delivery.
Dose this mean my item will be delivered today? Or will I have to wait till tomorrow? It says that it was last updated at 8:06
Its also now 10:41 and the status with the Tracking number has not been updated in the last 2 hours

Yes. Although deliveries are usually any time between 0930 and 1600 and the status won't update until delivery is attempted.

Hi, I ordered a book from Amazon, but my carrier is Airmail england, I think my order shipped on the 26th of August, it's coming to Philadelphia, I wanted to know when it might arrive. I don't have a tracking number

It will be delivered by USPS so I would advise keeping an eye on their pipeline.
