Good Afternoon everyone,
I'm waiting for a parcel with the following reference number.
RS295882238NL
At the moment its state is :
08/08/15 07:59 ARRIVED IN THE UK HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
The item was sent from china through PostNL.
The things I would like to ask are the following :
- Is there going to be any custom's check/delay in Heathrow or has this already be done in Netherlands (when the item entered the EU).
- In case there is a custom check....Can this be done on the weekends or are they only working on weekdays ?
- Is there a way to get my registered parcel from Heathrow before it arrives in my local Post Office (I leave in London)
The main reason of asking these questions is that I'm leaving for a two weeks holidays, on Tuesday, and I would love to receive the item before I leave.
I also know that a registered mail will be kept in my local post office for 1 week....that means that by the time I return, the item will be send back to the sender and they will have to resend it
Thank You all in advance

Re: Fastest way to receive a Registered Mail.
On the last point, no. Royal Mail will attempt delivery and, if nobody is home, the item will be available from the Royal Mail office from the following working day.
