Hey guys,
I ordered an item on eBay, it should be able to pick up at Argos in London on 8/04/2015.
Tracking site (RM) was updated last time few days ago (07/04/2015 3:50 PM). Since then there are not any updates there..
Parcelforce tracking site was updated last time on 9/04/2015, but last "checkpoint" (track point) was the original post office from where the seller sent me the parcel.
I called RM customer service, they told me that this parcel is going to... Wales (?!). They also agreed with me that it is weird that there are not any scanned tracking points.
Seller wrote to me that he definitely sent parcel to other address, not Wales.
I contacted branch from where parcel was sent. They told me that parcel left their branch at 5PM 7/04/2015. Apart from that, they know nothing.
What do you guys think?
Let's assume the seller gave me the correct tracking number,
The reason I am asking is I am still wondering if I should wait for few days or the parcel is gone and I should ask for refund,
Cheers!

Can you please try the tracking number at http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and post all the tracking entries?

When the Post Office accept a Special or Signed For item, they type the building name/number and postcode into the computer (does not apply to Speedbulk), and that information is then visible to people checking the internal version of Track & Trace. Which is probably how customer service know where your item is headed. But that's worrying, because it implies that the front of the parcel does not show the address you wanted. I think you need to take this up with the seller and possibly eBay themselves: if you have paid for Special and it hasn't arrived as promised, you should be entitled to a refund. If it's Royal Mail that made the mistake here then the seller will get a full refund from them anyway. And as far as I can tell, under eBay rules it's up to the seller to chase Royal Mail, and that's certainly how Royal Mail view it. Put your foot down.

Indeed Snaggletooth, not only is it Ebay but it is also quite specific in the Distance Selling Regulations, even if RM have cocked up, it's still the responsibility of the sender to get it to the Customer.

The lack of tracking points indicate 1 of 2 things either firstly it went missing somewhere between the post office and the mail centre where the next scan would have been or secondly and far more likely the sender sent the item using the signed for service and not special delivery which would look exactly as it does the now, and thus may take longer to get to it's destination. Have you checked with the argos store that it definitely has not arrived yet?

Thanks for replies guys.
zx135, I used https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; site and it shows that the item was sent using "Special Delivery Guaranteed™ " service.
I contacted the Argos store twice, once I called them and yesterday I went there. My parcel isn't there.
I also checked Parcel Force tracking site and it shows nothing :
"It's on its way.
Item [REFERENCE NUMBER REMOVED] was posted at 26 Village Road PO12 2LF on 07/04/15 and is being progressed through our network for delivery.
Last updated: 8:28 Mon. 13th Apr.".
Weird thing is that the parcel is going to Wales. Seller states that he definitely sent it to London.
