As title.
I have a buyer who bought £15.00 ebay item from me on 25 Nov.
I told him that I posted as a second class parcel.
After a week, starts pestering for "where is it, did you post it signed for?" I explained Xmas delays etc., please be patient. Also, that RM consider "lost" at least 15 working days from post date. (actually, 15 days, +3 days 2nd class expected delivery, + 1 day Xmas period, I since found out today!) He has now opened a case with ebay for non delivery.
SO, in case he claims for future "lost" items from other sellers, do RM claims dept keep tracks of the DELIVERY address of claims that are made or paid out?
I realise that I, as the sender who claims compensation for "lost" items, my name /address will be on record I imagine? I get less than 0.5% "lost" in a year, these are usually airmail, within EU.
Also, a home printed address label is attached as well as my full return address label. These are adhesive backed, and sellotaped over. Packaging is always excellent and strong.
Any opinion/answer appreciated.
Thanks, sholland

GOOD!
Thanks for replies. Depending what happens, I may need to claim for "lost" and if he has a record of this, I will co-operate fully with RM.
It is things like this that get you guys bad names for apparent "theft" and also drives up prices.
Thanks everyone for all your assistance during this last year, have a good Christmas, that is when not working flat out!
