Parcel apparently delivered... but I don't have it!

Post by mfelice »

Hello everyone,

This is my first post so forgive any blunder.

I've been waiting for a parcel from China that I could successfully track on China Post until it arrived in the UK. After that, I tried tracking at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but it never showed any results. Now, I discovered http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and checking for my parcel there shows the following:

Date, Time, Status, Track point
13/11/14, 13:29, DELIVERED 13/11/14, KETTERING PDO
10/11/14, 15:48, RECEIVED IN UK, HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC

I'm in Cambridge, so I guess this makes sense. Now, does it mean "Kettering PDO" has delivered to my local office for final delivery or that the parcel has actually been delivered to the recipient's address? If it's the latter, then how do I know who's got my parcel???

The delivery status is two weeks old now, but I've just discovered this so I'm worried. Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks!
M.
