Langley HDWC

Post by blackbox2342 »

I'm sure you guys have all sorts of queries regarding Langley HDWC given that it very much appears to be somewhat of a blackhole once your parcel arrives there.

I ordered a plush soft toy from China as a Christmas present back in October.

Tracking on China Post shows the following;

Arrival at Sorting Center
Oct-28-14, 09:34 AM, UNITED KINGDOM LANGLEY HWDC

Despatch from Sorting Center
Oct-21-14, 11:13 AM, SHENZHEN

Arrival at Sorting Center
Oct-21-14, 10:04 AM, SHENZHEN

Despatch from Sorting Center
Oct-21-14, 05:07 AM, DONGGUAN

As you can see the item arrived nearly a month ago in the UK and Royal Mail advised me I have to contact the seller as they don't track the parcel once it enters the UK (despite it being sent international sign for!).

I have tried the code on Royal Mail's website which states that information is not yet available.

Does this seem like an unusually long time or is this the norm? I ordered this back in October to try to beat the Christmas delays and now I'm fearing if I have to request another to be sent (purchased via eBay) that a new one might not arrive in time for Christmas!

Anyone any experiences and thoughts as these would be greatly appreciated.

The tracking number is AG013169827CN

4 weeks is not normal but its not unusual. There is still a chance it will turn up, but to really honest probably not a good one.

The good news is its showing up on one page for Royal Mail http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 28/10/14 09:34 RECEIVED IN UK HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC

So at least I know you guys got it!

The ebayer has agreed to re-post it, it is frustrating but thanks for your response.

How long should delivery from China usually take?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

At this time of year I'd say 10 - 14 days - normally around 8. However, Customs clearance can delay it sometimes.
