Hi I'm hoping you can help :)
I pre-printed a label for a small airmail standard parcel to go to Spain and when I put it in the post box I realised that I'd forgotten to put an airmail sticker on it or write airmail/par avion on it.
Will this cause problems?

No it shouldn't - the value of postage/size of item indicates which service it was destined for. Can't guarantee it 100% though.

This was so long ago but did your mail arrive in a timely manner, if you remember at all? I've just done the same thing with my letter to Hong Kong...

From the destination it would be obvious that it will be going by air mail, the sticker is just a convention that just confirms it.
Surface mail do exist that's more for large items especially from places like Australia and New Zealand etc
