No post for 2 weeks

Hi,
I've not received my post for the last 2 weeks and I'm getting worried. I went to my delivery office today and they said they can't help me as none of the post I was expecting was tracked.

I was expecting 4 packages from Amazon, all from different sellers. I've contacted them and they've all said they've dispatched - they all have high ratings too so I would be surprised if it was their fault instead of Royal Mail's.I also haven't received any bills, etc and I am worried that something has gone wrong.

Does anyone have any advice? What can I do to get my post?

I would suggest 2 things.

1. Contact the Royal Mail Customer Services team 03457 740 740 and explain the situation.

2. Go back down to the Delivery Office and politely ask to speak to the Manger that deals with your post code area BB1, HD4, etc.

The 1st one makes the complaint official, the 2nd one means that the local manager will investigate for you.

I've not delivered to some properties for sometimes months on end. Either due to not being able to reach the letter box due to the abysmal state of their garden  or communal entrances not working. :d'oh!

You may also be best advised to verify with Amazon who the courier(s) were for these items. (Royal Mail are certainly not an exclusive courier for Amazon).

We deliver very few Amazon items now as they have their own couriers in this area - I have had several reports of items not delivered from my customers and indeed have had items shown to me at the wrong address that have been left there. If TNT also deliver in your area then they will be handling a lot of utility, insurance and banking items and possibly misdelivering. I had one customer following up an item supposedly missing in TNT's care, that his address was in the wrong place according to their GPS information.

Welcome to Mr Cameron's glorious world of competitive business, where, as long as it's cheap - it doesn't matter where it ends up !!!

You'll have to confirm with the sellers that they used Royal Mail, most people use other companies now especially the larger packets as they are cheaper.
