Hi, sent a parcel Interational T + S to Germany but on tracking info it has the message above at HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC & says it has been passed to Eire post. Trackit says it is out for delivery in Ireland !

any ideas please.

check the details on http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which shows all the scans for a bar code. If you can then post copy and paste the results here it may help us try and explain whats happening.

However for an official answer you could try tweeting @royalmail with the tracking code (you'll need to follow them to send them a PM with the code).

hi, here it is. item was sent to Germany (receipt has street & post code) . On trackit it says this: 10.06.2014 04:04 Dublin Mail Centre, Dublin 12 Left postal office


I've sent 1000's of international parcels but this is a 1st

any help appreciated

its obvious it was misrouted by HWDC if the address was in Germany.

Whats not clear is whether Dublin 12 are returning it to the UK although that would be the most logical explanation. It would be highly unusual for Dublin to have an address the same as Germany. It might be worth keeping an eye on the DP tracking site https://www.deutschepost.de/sendung/sim ... cale=en_GB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the GLS site https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (they do a lot of Royal Mails European work.
