Hey guys, long story so I'll cut most of it out, but is there any way to determine an actuall delivery address (or any sort of approximation) for a Recorded Signed For item?
In this case, it wasn't scanned at a PO (probably wasn't posted through one), so no record of a shipping address there.
It is showing as delivered, however all that tells me is time, date, sorting office handling delivery, a signature, and a postie's ever amusing interpretation of the surname's spelling.
So far my postie can only tell me the obvious (he didn't deliver it) but no more, CS repeated the same details available online, and sorting office couldn't even tell me that, refusing to even put in writing that they were unable to put anything in writing (which i suppose makes sense).
And for reasons that can only be summed up in the following two words: "beacuse, eBay", I - as the supposed recipient - am currently tasked with getting in writing proof of the address the item was delivered to, or something close to this.
So, RM guys, what *is* the best info I could get for this? I'm guessing this would be GPS of the device used to take the signature, which no one's ever gonna hand out, but I may be wrong...

Does the tracking show the item was delivered via your delivery office?
If so then ring customer services and ask for the gps of where the item has been delivered to it'll be a bit long winded as they have to contact the delivery office.
I've had my manager ask me about an item from customer services and show me a little printed map of where the item was scanned.
If the tracking shows it was delivered via another office then i think the seller might be having you on.

i would simply dispute this item with ebay, as RSF is not a tracked service and thus ebay should refund you purchase as the item was not sent by a tracked service simple as that, no need for you to chase round trying to get hard to find information, customer service and the local delivery offices, or even yours can get the gps data from the bar code, but be aware the gps may not have been working at the time your item was scanned so there may be no gps information for you to get, next time if its an important or expensive item get the sender to send it by special delivery
