Need some advice on dvd-r posting.

Post by iain »

I have some DVD-Rs I need to post to someone, but he sent me this message:

Thank you for the message, please do not post the DVD-r because they will be confiscated by custom and excise due to copyright infringement and are PROHIBITED. They will destroy the dvd-r and plus both parties will end up losing money on buying DVD-R + P&P. Any items coming through Parcel Force and Royal Mail the parcel or a box will be opened and any prohibited items like DVD-R will be destroyed by Royal mail or Custom & Excise.

This is the next step they have taken against outside anything that arrives from international countries.
Europe / USA / ASIA etc This new law has began going back 4 weeks ago from C & E.

Is this true? A DVD-R does not have to have copyrighted material on it.

Thank's for any help & advice.

Some countries have some weird copyright laws. Which country are we talking about, you don't say? There should be no problems in uk . I've just received a couple of hundred blank discs.
