Post by dany123 »

Hi guys woundering if anyone can help me.

I accidently entered a wrong postcode for a parcel that was sent to me although street name Is right.

Now the postcode isnt too far away from the street name.

It was sent vía 1st class on Monday and hasnt come yet

I spoke on the phone many Times asking about this they exxplained how it works about waiting 15 working days etc etc.

I just need opinions from anyone WHO this happened too, will it come but just b delayed?

If you have the first half of the postcode correct it will probably make no difference at all. If the first half is wrong it may be delayed by a day or two.

Shouldn't be a problem still I think OL8 and OL9 are in the same delivery office. If they are not, it may delay it, but only for a few days. I wouldn't worry too much till Monday next week - After that its more likely to have been returned to the sender as no such address.

In that case its best if you call Royal Mail Customer services and explain the situation. They should enter the details onto the system and when it turns up in Belfast they will hopefully marry the query with the item and send it on to you. But you're right its a long process but there is not much else that can be done.
