Shipping to Germany: Airsure and P.O boxes

Hi!

I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to find out if it is possible to use royal mail airsure to send something to a p.o box in Germany.

What I have found out:

1. Royal Mail works together with GLS Germany, and GLS doesn't have access to german p.o boxes. I'm not sure if airsure shipments are handed over to GLS once they leave UK.

2. Until the end of 2012, the royal mail website stated that it is, just like with int. signed for, NOT possible to use airsure for p.o boxes.

3. At the moment, you can't find that statement on the webpage.

Does that mean you can use airsure for shipments to german p.o boxes?

I really hope someone can clear up that topic :pray

I believe that the current advice to Post Offices in the UK is that Airsure is acceptable to PO Boxes anywhere in the world. However, I can't find this information in a quick search of the RM website and the information given to us can be different to the info that RM put on their website.
