Airmail to US

Post by igor27 »

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if someone can help me with this.

I ordered some items off the internet and it was shipped via standard airmail from the UK. It was shipped on September 2nd and I haven't receive the package yet. I contacted the seller and they said it usually takes about 2 weeks (possibly up to 30 days) and it's probably stuck in customs. I had some experiences with online purchases from UK before and they usually take about 2 weeks. But for this one, it took a lot longer than usual. I'm very concerned and I'm wondering whether I should wait a few more days or should I notify the seller again. What are the steps if it turns out that the package was indeed lost?

If the item hasn't arrived within the time specified by the sender, then they need to take it up with the postal operator they paid and issue you with a refund/replacement :)
