Parcel going to NRC
am curious as to why a parcel I was sending to Cyprus, correctly packaged, addressed and postage paid went to NRC was repackaged and then delivered to Cyprus?

At a guess they were inspecting the contents for safety reasons, but its a guess because as we warn people on every page.
We have no affiliation with either Royal Mail or the Communications Workers Union (CWU), except that most of our members work for Royal Mail and/or are members of the CWU.

What exactly were you sending to Cyprus?
Odds are if it went to the NRC, then something inside it looked like Dangerous Goods, and had to be inspected first to make sure that it wasn't - which can only be done at the NRC as that is the only place they can open your mail. Once they found nothing dangerous in there, they forwarded it on for you, which is lucky really - most of the time they send it back to you.
