Hi there Ive got a bit of a problem, I ordered an item from India and its been stuck in Langely at Heathrow now since the 13/8/13 its now 7/9/13. I dont understand because if I had charges to pay I thought they would notify me by post yet I ve recieved nothing. I then tried to contact them directly to enquire about the item using my ref code, I was transferred twice and then told to contact hm revenue and customs which ive tried to do 3 times now only to be left on hold for over 20mins each time? I mean can I travel to HWDC Langely in Heathrow and pay at the counter? Not really sure what my next course of action should be, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Gary

Re: item stuck in HWDC
You can't just collect the item without a card.
You should contact the seller and get your money back, if it's really taken so long then it exceeds to 28 days that EBay allows.

Re: item stuck in HWDC
It's more then likely stuck at customs, until customs release the item to Royal Mail, there is absolutely nothing that Royal Mail will be able to do. I've had things stuck in customs in the past for over a month before. I think customs all round the world are getting stricter, where some might have only examined a certain % of items, they may be examining every single item

Is the item tracked? Do you have a tracking number?

Items from India aren't tracked in the UK, they're treated as signed-forsharry84 wrote:Is the item tracked? Do you have a tracking number?
