Still waiting for my parcel

I placed an order just over a week ago and it was to be delivered with royal mail. Thursday I recieved an email to contact the customer services as there was a problem, it turns out my address had not been written down in full. I spent all thursday and friday phoning royal mail and the company that I had originally ordered from and doubled checked my address and arranged redelivery for today, Saturday 10th August. It was left that my parcel would be delivered between 8am and 1pm on Saturday. Around half 12 I phoned royal mail because I was getting a little worried but nobody picked up, it is now 3pm, I have not got my package and I need the package for tomorrow. Any advice??

Very much doubt you will get it today now. Did you pay for Special Delivery? No point posting this 3 times though.

Who exactly did you arrange the redelivery with and when?
Was it the supplier or Royal Mail?
If the original item had an incomplete address it would have been returned to sender and the "redelivery" would have to come from the sender.

I arranged the delivery with the sender and then phoned royal mail back and spoke to customer services to ask if there was anything else I needed to do. To which i was told here was not.

yes i paid for guaranteed special delivery. Yeah I dont think I will but I just wondered if anyone had any advice or could tell me anything that I was not aware of.

Not really I'm afraid.
This seems to be the original parcel which is stuck in Belfast at the moment on its way back to the sender,this cannot be intercepted and redelivered,It looks like the company may have sent a replacement which you do not appear to have a tracking number for.

If this replacement was not sent until yesterday it would have to have been sent Saturday Guaranteed Special Delivery for you to be guaranteed to get it today.

Unless you have the tracking number for the replacement we cannot tell where it is or when you will get it.

If the original parcel is Special Delivery why is it in returns at Belfast ?
All SD items should have a return address, and if so,then should be returned to the sender direct :hmmmm

No I dont, when I phoned them they told me that it would be the same number. Obviously that was wrong. Well thanks for your help I appreciate it. Im not quite sure what to do since I need it for tomorrow.

Good question Pinky to which I have no answer other than there might be a problem with the return address.
Special Delivery with no return address used to go to Portsmouth I think.
Now everything goes to Belfast.

I'm sorry we couldn't help much.
It looks like the sender has let you down twice.
Once by getting your address wrong with the first parcel and the second time by not using the correct service to make sure you got the replacement today. :sad:
