Parcel from US with wrong post code

Hi everyone,

I ordered a parcel from the US to my work address, but accidentally put my home address as the post code! I've now realised this but it's too late to change. Is there anything I can do to ensure the parcel gets to me safely?

Any advice would be really appreciated!

As long as the first part of the postcode is the same as your home address then it shouldn't matter and even if it isn't it would only be delayed a couple of days if it went to the wrong office.

Unfortunately, The start of my postcode is HX4 and the start of the postcode of my work is HX2 :(

Do you think there is there anything I can do?

HX codes will go to the one MC and then off the whatever DO delivers it, I'm not from there so I don't know if the office covers 1 or multiple postcode.........anyway, it should only take an extra day or 2 if it does go to the wrong office.

HX is in my intra.

As far as I know HX1, HX2 and HX4 are in same office so it shouldn't delay it that much.
All post by me in Green are Admin Posts.
