First between Portugal and the UK there is no need for customs clearance (both countries are on the EEC) therefore replies based on this are useless the fact is that Royal Mail is not doing their job properly,
I have an envelope (standard size only docs in it) that was sent from Portugal on the 15/01/2013 under a registered mail service arrived at Langley HWDC on the 17/03/2013 and them stuck till....that is yours and my guess it took two days from Portugal to the UK and now after been already at Langley for a full week is going to take an eternity from Langley to London (the envelope final destination)..
The tracking system in Portugal says the envelope is at Langley since the 17/01/2013 and the Royal Mail tracking system says,
Recorded Signed For™ items are only tracked after the item has been delivered. Depending on whether the item was sent first or second class, this may be a few days after posting. Please try again later.
Information on your item is not yet available online.
No Customers service phone available therefore ROYAL MAIL is worst that many third World Mail services it is a GUESS WORK delivery... Better to move away and to use other mail delivery services supplier...
By the way anyone knows if there is a way to contact any customer’s service at Langley (other then through Twitter) need my Documents badly and I'm ready to have them back to Portugal to be resent by DHL or others all I need is my documents PLEASE
