Alright Folks,
My sister sent a parcel on the 20th of august, its a mobile phone for repair and shes only sent it recorded and not special delivery. It got as far as the Normanton office as I checked in our office at Kilmarnock, but after that it appears to have gone missing and hasnt been signed off. I was just wondering if there was anyone in the know at Normanton that could maybe have a dig around to see if they could find out what happended to it, if I Gave them the reference no.
Cheers

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Im afraid that recorded items are not actually 'recorded' in the systemMaguire44 wrote:Alright Folks,

until they are delivered or a delivery has been attempted...so I fail to
see how your local office can confirm it has reached the Normanton
office...hopefully someone who works there can check it out for you

Well ive been told this by my local office and also by customer services when i called them. So they must have some way of establishing that it has reached normanton. They even gave me a time and a ref no.
