Hi,
Firstly, great website. I sold an item on eBay (a ticket to a music event) and received payment via paypal. The address to send to is a US PO box address. I am wondering if it is safe to send to this address. I am unsure who actually takes responsibility for the delivery once it leaves the UK. Obviously I need to ensure I am fully protected with paypal so want to make sure I send correctly.
Normally I send international goods via airsure and haven't had a problem but have never sent to a PO box address before.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that. I spoke to two people earlier on the RM customer services phone line and was told I could post via airsure.fishtank wrote:http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/deliv ... re/details" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Please note that Airsure items cannot be posted to a PO box address or parcel station.
Just checked and it also says international signed for cannot be used to send to a PO Box. So, basically the phone line got it completely wrong as it is not possible in anyway to send anything to an international PO box address.

You could try Parcelforce.
According to their info they will deliver to U.S P.O. boxes.

On a separate note, if it was a residential address, is it best to send tickets via airsure or international signed for? I know with domestic items it clearly states on the RM website that tickets should be sent via special delivery not recorded. I am wondering if there is any similar ruling for international delivery.

Re: Posting to a US PO box address
Airsure is a fully tracked product whereas international signed for is simply a signature on delivery product plus airsure has the option of increasing the insurance level to £500 so for anything of value airsure is a far better idea.
