I was out for a week and during that time unfortunately I had received my passport via signed delivery. The postman left a card to collect the mail from the local post office. When I went to the post office, they informed me that it was returned to the sender. The sender address was HCI London WC23 4WA out of which postcode was wrong. I was suppose to travel on 9th of Dec 2011 and my trip is in jeopardy.
The royal mail customer services have asked me to claim but I am not going to get much out of recorded delivery. I have to spend lot of time and money(700£ approx) to get a duplicate passport and visa. My only hope for holidays is to get my old passport back .
It was returned from Hitchin post office to post code WC23 4WA on 1st Nov 2011. The royal mail customer services have even looked it in National return centre, Belfast and they could not trace it.I have already spent numerous hours tracking my delivery and it is really making me mad.
Any ideas in which post office it might be stuck? My only chance to get it back is to look in which post office it went missing. It will be helpful if someone can guide me as to which post office in London might have received the mail with post code WC23 4WA.
Thanks for you patience.

Moved to customer forum.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
