Hi - why does it take until approx 4.00pm each day for us to receive post - as a business we rely on receipt of cheques etc so we have time to get to the bank but lately delivery
has been getting later & later - anyone have reasons?

Although I don't know if the Delivery Office you come under is having a revision, this is a common complain when a revision occurs. Its probably best to try and contact the Manager of the Office to see if this has happened, or perhaps ask the postie when he turns up - chance are it wont be the posties fault.
A revision is where Royal Mail change the way a Postie delivers their round. It can change:
The way they do the streets
The starting and end points.
The start and end times.
The method (foot, van, cycle, trolley or combination)
Royal Mail change the rounds so that they are more efficient
as they see it. However over the last decade or so the main changes have meant longer, later and heavier deliveries and it does sound from first viewing this is what has happened.
