I recently sold my Macbook Pro via eBay and received prompt payment on Paypal. I posted the item at my local Post Office and posted the item recorded delivery with insurance. A couple of days later the buyer has messaged me quite angrily saying that there was no Macbook Pro in the parcel, and that the parcel itself was empty aside from the cables. He sent me a picture of the wrapped item; this actually differs from how I sent it as I didn't use any brown tape to seal it and now it has it right across one of the ends. He has opened a dispute on Paypal to reclaim his money.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them before? What is the best process for me to take to have this sorted out? Cause at the moment with the way it stands it looks like I could be out either the Macbook or the best park of 2k
