2 out of twelve aint bad

Post by doinkus »

I recently sold some old xbox games on ebay and took them all in to the post office together, sending them 1st class recorded.
They were going to different addresses throughout the country. Some were delivered the next day, others within 2 or 3.
However, 2 of the twelve have not arrived, going from Bradford to Bury, and Gloucestershire. Its been a week now. According to the track and trace, the PO still has the items. How? Coincidentally, the 2 in question were slightly different to the rest, one by being in a slightly different bubble envelope, the other, being a fraction heavier as the game was in a tin box, collectors edition, not the usual plastic. Whats the chances of these turning up?

Unless the person has complained they didn't receive them you will probably find the postman just posted them and didn't obtain a signature

or they have been signed for and the system hasn't been updated. Some posties are notorious for handing their delivery cards in days or even weeks after the delivery. I scanned one from 21st December last week  So unless your buyers say they haven't arrived, presume they have been delivered until then.
