Morning Guys / Girls,
I have used the eBay / Paypal online postage printing service multiple times, and always for for Special Delivery / Signed for, And the parcels always get to the buyer in a day and they are perfectly happy.
I have one buyer who has not recieved his parcel, So i thought ok, I'll check the paypal signed for details.
I log into paypal and begin looking for the tracking details, Only they are no where to be seen.
So i ring up Paypal who tell me they don't keep the details and to speak to Royal Mail.
I speak to Royal Mail on the phone and they say that i should have got an orage sticker to say that i've paid for signed for and for the delivery guy to get the signature.
According to the email i have, it says i can just drop it off, Nothing about getting a signature sticker.
What i can i do about this? Does anyone have any contact details for the head of the west midlands area?
Cheers for any support! :)

Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

If you used Smart Stamp it does say on RM FAQs (link above)

So reading that not sure if you can just drop it off - typical Royal Mail though you have to wade through reams of T&Cs to actually find what you need.If you have a tracked item (Special Delivery 9am, Special Delivery Next Day, Recorded Signed For, Airsure, International Recorded Signed For) you must take the item to your local Post Office to have it accepted. The Post Office will also provide a signature for your Certificate of Posting document.

1st of all read the post above again, what it looks like you have done is printed off the postage, stuck it on the parcel and just given it to the post office without any special stickers on.
I have never seen an 'eBay / Paypal online postage printing service' packet with either a registered or recorded sticker already printed on them by the above service.
You've obviously left this off and the parcel has probably been delivered, but your customer is probably pulling a fast one as he/she's expecting to sign for it.
Not sure how you've got away with it before though.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
