I've got to get a time-sensitive letter out by a 21-03-25 deadline. Local post office suddenly closed 'until further notice' without warning yesterday, so I arranged a doorstep collection, Tracked 24 to go today (13-03-25), which surely ought to mean it should get there hopefully tomorrow but if not by Monday 17th at the latest. However, once I paid for it, the receipt says 'post by 19-03-25'.
First time I've used this collection service so is that normal? Hopefully it'll be on it's way by today or tomorrow, otherwise it'd get there quicker if I just put it in a postbox.

Ignore the above, I've just figured out that the Tracked 24 and collection are down as two separate elements on the receipt.

You should be using Special Delivery if it is time sensitive.
