I sent a large Medium Parcel (2.5kg), back to a retailer using Royal Mail Click and Drop.
I did not notice that the retailers address on the Royal Mail PAF when you select the address is a totally different address to the retailers actual address - until I noticed the delivery picture is nowhere near a warehouse.
My parcel was delivered to a location way out to a house, although addressed to the retailer with the RMA number and stickers from the retailer including the retailer's RMA note inside the package, their location is miles apart.
I repurchased another RM label to collect it from this address to return it back to me - although the RM response from the collection was the 'person was not in' - this being a weekend I can understand.
In this case, I am going to try to also print the label again and send it to them to post it back to me - although why the Postman did not realise that a retailer lives in a bungalow house and did a RTS - I am not sure. Maybe include a chocolate as a gift.
Should I persist in creating collection attempts for my package back from this recipient or is it a lost cause? I have emailed the PAF forms to have a look at why the address is wrong as it has caused me a substantial loss.
Personally, am shocked to have done a school-boy error although I am sure this has happened multiple times to this retailer
