Special delivery sent on Sunday- what would the lead time be?

Post by Furnaz »

Hi all

Appreciate all the advice and help! This is my go to to settle my anxious mind re. Deliveries

I was expecting a delivery today- the package was sent on Sunday afternoon was I thought Monday there would be some movement.
However nothing has moved and its stuck on "we've got it"

Tracking NY521438498GB

Can anyone provide further guidance on what might have happened? It's special 1pm service so I thought it would have moved by now atleast.

My best guess is that the "Sunday staff" at the PO have put the item into a 1st class bag and not a SPD green bag.

This item will more than likely be found soon and handed over to the SPD locker team for scanning.

So I would be checking the SPD reference number at about 10pm and 1am tonight, which will provide further details about who scanned it and where and where the item is at the time of the most recent scan.

I hope this helps and it's only a best guess.
