Chicago Sorting Office
Hi. I'd love some advice please. I live in New Zealand and a relative sent two packages to me from the UK on March 18. One arrived on March 24 and the other is listed as "Received at Sorting Office, Chicago" on March 21. The online system says it has reached its destination sorting office, even though it's in the US rather than NZ. The Royal Mail phone line has a 50 minute hold time. Does anyone know if I can call the Chicago sorting office and, if so, is it the USPS one? Or could it be on its way from there and nothing has been listed about it leaving Chicago? Any advice gratefully received. Thank you.

Re: Chicago Sorting Office
Sounds like human error.
USPS should forward the parcel via their system to your country. However, sometimes tracking on wrongly routed parcels doesn't continue once it arrives in the wrong country.
I don't think that you will be able to track it, but it should be delivered eventually.
