Good afternoon
since late 2022 i have been contacting royal mail and my local sorting office regarding my mail. Our post man has continually been dropping our mail to a hostel sharing the same address as our flats. The hostel is 1-18 and out flats are 19-33, we have our own individual post boxes outside our front doors and yet he continues to deliver to the hostel we have limited access to. I have spoken to him personally and put in a number of complaints and the problem continues. Iv lived here since 2019 and can recall from my ref numbers this starting in 2022.
what would you advise my next step to be ?

Given you have reference numbers, I assume that you have complained to Royal Mail’s helpline? Therefore you need to escalate the complaint as per the process on RM’s website. This may seem like a faff but it is a necessary step on the way to potentially making a complaint to the regulator. But escalating this should also in itself help get RM’s attention.

Hello LSA. I personally would visit your local delivery office and request that mail for the hostel at 1-18 is separated (on the frame) from 19-33 flats. A simple change here should help to rectify your issue's.
Also I would ask whoever receives the mail at the 1-18 hostel - not to accept mail for the 1-19 flats.
