Delivered to PO Box by NRC

Post by NickMoore »

Hi,
I wonder if someone out there can help me with some information please?
In early September I send two parcels via the special delivery service to an address in London.
The address was provided to me by an Ebay purchaser - unfortunately, they had got the address wrong and the parcels were refused at the destination end.
I didn't write my contact details on the parcels as I wanted to maintain anonymity (its an Ebay sale).
I tracked the delivery and a week ago they were returned to the NRC, where they were apparently being processed.
I called the Royal Mail helpline and got through after 30 mins.
I was told that the parcels would take a few days to process.
Today I logged in to track the parcels and the message reads: 'Delivered to PO Box by NRC'.

Does anyone know what this means and where the parcels are now?
Crucially, how do I get them back?
They were special delivery items, I have the Reference Numbers and Post Office receipts.

Many thanks

Delivered to PO Box by NRC is a tracking status that should not be publicly viewable as it is too technical. However for us "insiders" it just means they have received the item at NRC and are starting their work.

Hopefully, as you have already contacted Royal Mail officially then it should not take long to either send on to the correct address or return it to you.
