Lost parcel - Wedding Cake toppers!!

Post by CathrynCariad »

Hi there - I'm struggling to get help - I posted a parcel (1st class) on 27 July - it's been scanned as arriving in Chester on 27/7 and leaving Chester (for Poole) later the same day - no trace of it since. Customer has been into Poole DO but they've said it's not there, and we need to contact Chester - can't get hold of anyone at Chester. Parcel contains cake toppers for wedding cake - help !

You haven’t given us anything to go on here, like tracking information.

And if you did get hold of Chester (mail centre, presumably), what do you expect to achieve by that?

Sorry Snaggletooth - new user - didn't know whether I should add tracking info (it would have been easily done)

No idea why Poole DO suggested contacting Chester (seemed mad to me, but that's what they said)

In fact - two hours after the customer went in to Poole DO to try to find the parcel (and was told it hadn't arrived there) - it was delivered (at 17:40 according to track & trace!)

Huge sigh of relief - wedding cake is good to go :dance
