Hello,
I have a OBA/ Business Click and Drop. I normally take my mail in bags to the post office with a manifest two to three times a week.
I wasn’t able to get to the post office during opening times this week so I asked Customer Services if I can take the bags to a Depot/ CSP instead as it closer than the post office and opens earlier and was told they and they would do it the same as the post office.
So this morning I took it to the depot and asked can I drop the bags off, he said he didn’t think so and checked with a manager who said as a once off they can but they said they didn’t need the manifest.
So I am a bit confused with this as firstly does this mean I am stuck with post office drop off (unless I want to pay the very high collection fee) and Secondly will I be penalised for the mail not having the manifest with them.

You wont be penalised for no manifest.
I've seen people drop off mail sacks on the rare occasion I have been to the local delivery office. From what I can tell, it's a pre-arranged time and you go through the public entrance and not the yard.
I put the wrong mail labels on 20 bags once (in 20 years!) and they let me pop down and change them all before they left for the day - they're very flexibile and friendly, at least at my DO.
