International Tracked - where and when is it first scanned?

I mean the first scan after the initial scan by the postman at collection. Would it be scanned at the DO? Or at least at the MC? Or not at all before it reaches the International Centre?

I have an example here: collection Thursday 9th in the morning. Tracking still stands at the "we've got it" collection scan. Should that not have been scanned at the MC by now?

It depends on which kind of international tracked it was but at least it should be scanned at the MC. However, there are 2 issues which could have meant its missed its scan or the scan isn't showing.

1. Weather - a lot of offices did not have Mail Centres collecting or delivering their mail to them from Thusday evening because of the snow. Normal service for everthing really only came back yesterday for my Office yesterday. Othe offices were probably affected as well.

2. Royal Mail suffered a cyber attack and are still recovering from it. We copy their daily updates viewtopic.php?f=6&t=103403 (latest update is the last entry) but essentially they are saying there are delays as the get a new system up and running and that the scans may be missing or different to waht customer are used to seeing.
