I want to buy postage online using click and drop, but then take the parcels to my local post office. However, despite being shown a list of options there seem to be no clickable buttons, so my orders always end up being listed as for collection. There seems to be no way I can say I don't want this. I thought at least if I set the collection date to as late as possible your system would know the parcels have already been delivered before that date, but no, someone still comes to collect parcels a week after I've sent them. What can I do?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Go through to the checkout page where it summarizes the order and you can remove the collection element using the delete icon (I think from memory it's a rubbish bin icon), leaving only the postage there which you can go ahead and pay for.

Ah.... that's it! I thought that would remove the whole package from the basket. Thank you Simon.

Re: Using Click and Drop but don't want collection
I was confused by this first, it looks as if they've deliberately made it difficult so as to incentivise the free collection option
Personally I'd much rather take it to the post office than wait in for the postman but I can see why it might be a good option for some people, however I've seen lots of reports of the collection not happening even though it was booked

Re: Using Click and Drop but don't want collection
Update - it looks like this has now been changed....on the penultimate page where you only had the options of booking a new collection or adding to an existing one there is now a "I'll drop it off" option too.
