Happy new year all!
I am just wondering if it is true that normal 1st and 2nd class large letters are now being scanned on Delivery to show as DELIVERED on track and trace?
The other day i sent a 2nd Class Large Letter label that i bought from Ebay and it showed the GPS location and it was marked as delivered?

Re: Is it true....... ?
It would be nice if a postie that supports small businesses could answer this, as currently i am struggling as a small business and with a business account i keep getting charged surcharges on top of the cost of a Large Letter 48 which costs £1.16 + 6% and it is increasing to 8% soon.
Trying to compete with all the big sellers is hard as the profit margins are very small to remain competative.
2nd Class Large Letter is only £1.05
Thank you kindly.

As far as I know, it should be standard practice, but as with most things Royal Mail it may not have filtered down to the delivery posties. SO I am afraid its a bit hit-and-miss.Business15 wrote: ↑03 Jan 2023, 11:55Happy new year all!
