Expecting an item from China, Was hoping that it would arrive before Christmas

Tracking is showing as: Northampton Peak Parcel Hub, Item Received

Never seen them go to the Parcel Hub before, Normally go to the local Delivery Office

No update from there since 14th December

Chances of it arriving before xmas ?

This doesn’t look quite right. What is the full tracking please?

Also, does the tracking number end GB or CN? That tells you what country the parcel is entering the mail system via.

I'm having issue as well, I sold an item through global shipping programme and sent it next day as 48tracked and it was collected from home on 6th on December. For some reason it end up in Northampton Peak Parcel Hub on 10th of December and since then there no updates.

This means that you parcel is (or will be) posted in the United Kingdom.

Some overseas sellers (mainly from China) ship items over to the UK in bulk. Once here, they split the consignment down into individual parcels and post them here. So they only enter the mail system once in the UK. The giveaway is the the GB on the end of the tracking number: it would be CN if posted in PR China, HK if posted in Hong Kong etc.

This doesn't look like mail tracking to me. I suspect it marks the arrival of the container at the place where they will break it down.

Sender despatching item

RM use this message for at least two completely different things. In this context, it means that the sender has raised a sales order with RM and told RM that they will be using this specific tracking number. It does not mean that the item has been posted. Depending on the service used, you should see tracking within Royal Mail's pipeline and once delivery is attempted. However, tracking seems to be a bit patchy at the moment due to the strikes etc.

Unless the seller confirms whether or not this has been posted, and when that happened, it is very hard to speculate on when this will arrive.

Parcel has been sitting at Northampton Peak Parcel Hub for 10 days now, no update from the HUB. Other Royal Mail parcels not stuck at this HUB have been received way before now. Would be good if the HUB could give some information on why things are particularly held up - strike action aside -and whether there is any chance that backlog may be addressed anytime soon?

2 weeks ago i had a parcel stuck here for over 7 days going UK to UK.

It is normal at the moment.

I have posted this on 21st Feb and its still in UK on 6th March. Do we know whats happening with royal mail? The parcel is to reach Mumbai, India.

There are significant delays - weeks/months - to every international destination. Parcels are going on a tour of England before finally being sent out. Sone items from November - stuck due to strike action then cyber attack - still stuck in the UK.
Items being accepted at Post Office when that restarted a couple of weeks ago are also now stuck.
Some items leaving but it's down to a toss of a coin.

A new system is apparently being worked on but who knows when it will be ready?

Tracking no is LE043370428GB. The destination is Romania.
