Hello,
my tracking has been stuck at Langley hwdc since 21st September, normally items are processed within a few hours so I’m not sure what’s going on, no customs charges to pay etc. So is anyone else in the same position as me or if your item has recently been in Langley how long did it take to get processed.
Ps: my item is going aboard

Seems like this is happening all round, think it’s a backlog to do with the supposed strike that didn’t take place due to the queens passing and then the whole funeral and bank holiday.

Similar situation here... I have always relied on the USPS - RoyalMail/ParcelForce shipping for items from the US, as its tracked and in 20 years, have never had a parcel go missing.
First time for everything I guess, but my latest parcel arrived with Customs/Langley HWDC on 17th September and has been there ever since. I get Customs need to check and charge Vat/Duty etc.... if necessary, but this has never been more than a few days, until now.
Hoping it will eventually arrive as its a historic item for a Museum display, and its not about getting the money back if it disappears, its the difficulty of finding another one. USPS/RM/PF always used to be a reliable shipping choice. :(
3 days to get out of the US, then a dead stop on arrival in the UK. Clearly in Customs, but with no way to check that - RM call centre just said I'll have to wait and keep my fingers crossed it turns up. :(

Customs choose random batches of mail for extra checks. Any items in them randomly chosen batches will take longer to clear customs

Well, there must be some magic going on in the background of this forum.... overnight, my package has been scanned twice (at Langley) and has now 'left our international processing centre' - hopefully it will make it to the Chelmsford Hub and local DO in time for delivery tomorrow, before the strike commences. :)
