Item stuck in Langley 2 weeks

Hi all,

Parcel EY460000281US hasn't moved in 2 weeks now - Parcelforce have said it is awaiting to clear customs, but it is normal for it to take 2 weeks with no notification at all (nothing received by post for charges etc, not that I am expecting to be charged!!).

Parcelforce customer "service" are next to useless - they have finally conceded to performing a parcel search today, but am guessing this will just involve them saying it hasn't cleared customs yet.

Last tracking was: Your parcel has arrived in the UK. It will soon be sorted and on its way to our delivery depot, although some parcels do require customs clearance prior to this on the 9th August.

Any help would be gratefully received - the parcel is low value and have received many over the last few months with no issue whatsoever

Just to check, is this in any way different to the parcel you posted about on a different thread 4 days ago? I can see that it is a different parcel from the other one, due to the different tracking numbers. But as the circumstances seem to be identical, I was wondering why TBT’s previous answer doesn’t suffice? What am I missing?

I'm waiting on my parcel from AU Perth posted a month ago, tracking:

I've spoken to Royal Mail and they've told me it's stuck at Langley and has been since the 9th Aug!?

Any ideas?

I've tried to contact Langley but it doesn't look like there is any front facing customer services number.

Getting a bit concerned :/

Your best bet is to get the sender to contact AusPost who will hopefully contact customs or Royal Mail, sometimes this works, but not always.

Hopefully whatever the contents were are not banned or restricted in the UK, that would cause a delay whilst they investigate it.
