I have a parcel I'm expecting that was handed to RM last night at 1.41AM. It was sent on a tracked 48 service. Is their any chance this item could be delivered tomorrow or would it be Monday ? Just wondering if RM 48 ever does have a chance of arriving next day...
The last tracking update was at 18:26 tonight and it says 'Your item has reached North West Midlands MC and will now be sent to your local delivery office.'
Is there any chance it could be sent to my local depot tonight and delivered tomorrow ?

A chance, yes, just like there is a chance you'd win the lottery if you buy a ticket

Re: Is tracked 48 ever next day ?
Not no chance; if the inward mail centre is the same as the outward one (that is, it's being sent from and to postcodes covered by the same MC), and it's a quiet night, and the lorry arrival times happen to mean a bit of wait for incoming work, then the tracked sorters may fill the gap in by doing some intra that's technically the next night's work; which'd mean it reaching the delivery office a day before it ordinarily would. Nothing to rely on, but you shouldn't make any assumptions that it won't happen.
