Hello,
I sent a parcel to my friend in Japan on 2. December with Parcel Force and Japan Post EMS with an expected delivery of 17. December. According to the tracker, it went through the UK system successfully, but is now stuck on "Exported from the UK" since 4. December. On that day, I remembered I forgot to sign the commercial invoices and CN23 forms. I am worried that something bad might have happened. I do not like the fact that there has been no update at all since 4. December now. I was going to PDF a signed copy of the documents to Parcel Force, but they informed me that because the parcel has already left the UK, they cannot do anything about it. Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this issue?
I searched online, but there was little useful information on sending parcels to Japan. Furthermore, I contacted Parcel Force and Japan Post EMS (both telling me to contact the reciprocal companies). Parcel Force did tell me, though, if there is no update on Thursday, I need to re-contact them. In the meantime, does anyone know what might have happened? I rarely send parcels, so I do not know the process well.
Additionally, my friend did the exact opposite. Sent a parcel to me Japan to UK on 2. December with Parcel Force and Japan Post EMS with the same service, and it arrived at 8. December.

Just a thought, as it's Japan is it possible that they quarantine mail/parcels.
