Special delivery delivered and signed by Mount pleasant W D0
Good afternoon, hoping someone could help. I have sent some important documents from a UK address to an office address in London via special delivery. The tracking shows the document has been delivered and signed by someone from Mount Pleasant W D0. In this case what should i do? Do i need to contact royal mail regarding the issue or just leave as it is? It's been a week since they delivered and signed for the document and i have not heard any update from the office either. Should I contact the office as well? Thanks in advance!

Re: Special delivery delivered and signed by Mount pleasant W D0
When you say 'Signed for by someone from Mount Pleasant W DO' do you mean the tracking states
it was delivered by Mount Pleasant W DO?
Currently Royal Mail policy is that recipients don't physically sign on our PDA's for items. The delivering postie
is supposed to hand the delivery over person to person and take the name of the person receiving the item,
enter this name on the device (NOT the delivering postie's name) and make the mark 'XP1' in the signature
box (nobody knows what XP1 means, it came in at the start of Covid).
If the tracking shows a name (it should), does the receiving office have a person working for them with that name?
If you put the tracking number up on here someone might be able to advise further - although this is not
an official RM site.
