Hi,
I have been expecting a letter from a friend which was posted on 6th July. It was posted UK to UK with a first class stamp (had return address). But by talking with my friend I have figured out it was a padded envelope and probably should have been a large first class stamp.
I haven't received a grey card and as of yet, he hasn't received it back at the return address.
I can only remember receiving a grey card once before a long time ago and I remember thinking it was quite late.
So I guess I'm curious roughly how late would I usually receive a grey card? Is 3/4 weeks normal?
Or would the item be returned to sender without me receiving a grey card?
And finally what is my best course of action?
Many thanks for any help or information.

What part of the country is it going to? Some delivery offices are really short on staff where they've had lots of staff pinged by the covid app

I am afraid underpaid items are probably the lowest priority for action throughout the process. All normal traffic will take precedence before underpaid, and as suggested by SpacePhoenix, with covid, the pingdemic, it could be a long wait for the Grey Cards to go out.Andrewg18 wrote: ↑02 Aug 2021, 23:29Hi,

Thanks. That makes sense. Guess I'll just wait then.TrueBlueTerrier wrote: ↑03 Aug 2021, 08:35I am afraid underpaid items are probably the lowest priority for action throughout the process.
