UK to SINGAPORE - International Tracked and Signed

Hi - I had a Tracked & Signed post sent to Singapore on 03 JUL, the last status on the system is as of 07-JUL with an update/status "Item Leaving the UK". Had called the ROYAL MAIL Support they said it has left the Country and gave a Tracking Number starting with "GBLALA SG SIN AA UR...", I called up SINGAPORE POST and they said they have not received the item...I also tried reaching Singapore Customs & they came saying they do not track any post/couriers etc.

I need to know what has happened to my Post & when it would be delivered.

Not sure, if there is an issue with Postal Delivery, although I know there are delays due to COVID but this has taken far too long.

Can you please post the whole tracking number, as the bit you've posted doesn't look like a valid tracking number. Also what's the contents (sometimes the contents can cause problems with customs, lithium batteries can cause problems as well)

Hi SpacePhoenix - the content of the parcel was just "Documents", no prohibited item in the parcel.

the Tracking No is RN577253923GB and the Shipment Reference number is "GBLALA SGSIN AA UR 101 130 150 100 71"

Singapore are having huge issues in both post and customs. Its probably stuck in Customs.

We're accepting letters and parcels destined for Singapore, however, delays may be experienced as air connections have been severely limited. We're looking at alternative solutions to maintain service.

Latest Update
The restrictions introduced last year against COVID infection remain in place. Signatures are not collected upon delivery, items of letter box size mail will be posted through the letter box, and larger items which won't fit through a letterbox, will be delivered to parcel locker stations (POP stations), a post office or collection points for collection by the addressee. These measures will have an impact on quality of service for all mail types and delivery standards cannot be guaranteed until the situation returns to normal.

I did read the 11th May update on delays in SG Post...I had a few documents couriered by Royal mail earlier in June, which were received in less than a week, hence surprised that this Registered post is taking that long. The Royal Mail Customer Support said that this may be still in shipping but can't confirm where exactly it is.

It probably has left the UK, in that it is either in the UK or Singaporean Customs. Unfortunately, we can not update the status of the item as we are not an official Royal Mail site and even if we were without the tracking number being provided we can't check on its progress.

There are still delays due to decreased air transport availability, and covid is still impacting everyone to different degrees.
