I have seen some streets that have NO house numbers AT ALL.
How the hell do delivery people even find what house number it is?
I definitely wouldn’t be able to.
My house isn’t really hard but it’s up some steps so basically you would have to walk up them to see the door to see the number.
But I guess our road had numbers so they could count I suppose
But what about places that have no numbers. And houses that are weird where you have to go round the back to see the next number and stuff like that?

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There are streets of named houses (no number on the house, no number on the letters) where a few don't have the name on their houses too.
It's always a laugh doing these sorts of streets the day after someone unfamiliar has made a couple of (understandable) mistakes: when we get the odd person complaining they got letters for a neighbour with no regard to the fact that it isn't possible to know which side is odd or even (assuming it's set up that way, it isn't always) when noone has a number (or how hard it is when named houses don't have a name on them).
