Purchasing postage online

Post by pwdebb »

I'm trying to help my wife get an item returned from a customer for which she needs to pay the postage.

My question is, can she buy postage online and send the QR Code or label via email to the other party for them to use? I presume that the labels are designed to be printed directly to avoid abuse but wondered whether the QR code might be possible.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The Royal Mail Click & Drop website just generates PDFs to print, so I see no reason why you couldn't email the PDF to someone else to print.
Don't try to use the same QR code on multiple parcels though, as RM almost certainly could detect that via the tracking.
