HELP - SEVEN LOST PARCELS

Post by cfh_1107 »

Morning after some advice.

I am an irregular private seller on EBAY. On Monday 12th I posted 11 parcels - second class signed for. 4 arrived at their destination in the usual 3 days. However 7 have still not arrived. The post office I post at is a small shop - and often the owner trys to upsell - often dishonestly stating that services are "suspended" or second class mail takes up to 30 days. If you ask for the cheapest postal method he will often sell you 48 hour parcelforce. On this occaision he showed great interest in what I was posting.

Given SEVEN parcels have potentially gone missing - most of Royal Mail only seems interested in the odd parcel going missing. I am at a loss on how to escalate this s it clearly isnt a parcel lost in the system (after the 10 days !)).

Help - thoughts ....

There is nothing you can do except wait for the appropriate time then make all seven claims at the same time. That should in theory set alarm bells ringing.

Who does the OP contact about a rouge PO.
What with the blatent lies he'd being told and the miss selling.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

My wife was a big seller on eBay the postmaster suggested to beat the queue & time leave them with him & he will label up when not busy, pay me next day/end of the week, he posted everything 2nd class & charged her 1st class postage, you've got to watch the robbing bastards :evil/mad
