Hello, I posted a parcel to Italy last Tuesday (23/03) and it looks to be stuck in Langley - from the sounds of other posts there are general delays, but I wasn't sure what the hold up was given the parcel is showing as transferred to Poste Italiane (I assume that means it cleared UK customs). The tracking number is RY274165753GB, and the contents are a pair of cotton trousers marked as a 'Returned Item - Failed Sale'.
Right now, Poste Italiane is showing the following, but I was wondering if anyone could make sense of it - going by the timestamp, It looks like the parcel was verified and then unverified? Could this just be Poste Italiane struggling to find a flight for the package?

The item needs to be returned to the retailer by Friday, so I'm getting a bit concerned and am tempted to just recall the package (if that's even an option).Thank you for the help, I could do with any guidance from people who've shipped to Italy before

The tracking above is simply the Royal Mail tracking for the item being received at Romford and then Langley (with a offset for the time difference between the UK/Italy).
Your item is likely to be in Italian customs waiting for them to clear it and pass it to Poste Italiane. The tracking won't be updated until then.
